One Plus One Disability Group
A disabled people-led organization advancing disability rights, employment, and inclusive technology innovation.
Technology · Communities · Ordinary Life
I study how technologies are imagined, negotiated, and lived with grassroots communities.
ContactI am a participatory action researcher and PhD candidate at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University. My work sits at the intersection of Science, Technology and Society, disability cultures, and gender equality. Before my PhD, I received my master's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and worked as a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at ByteDance, focusing on digital inclusion strategy.
My research is grounded in long-term engagement with grassroots communities in China, especially through Tech for Development projects with:
A disabled people-led organization advancing disability rights, employment, and inclusive technology innovation.
An NGO providing anti-gender-based violence training and support for women.
A social enterprise dedicated to promoting open-source culture and community development.
Outside academia, I explore contact improvisation, embodied media, and alternative ways of living as everyday practices of sensing, relating, and imagining otherwise.
